The artist behind Lowestoft's famous barn owl and harrier hawk paintings, ATM completed his biggest mural ever last week, and the third of five murals he will paint in the town centre.

All scaffolding has now been removed and the kingfisher can be observed in all its glory looking over the Bascule Bridge.

ATM said: "It's a great spot and an exciting subject. I've loved staying in the town again.

"I've been walking around in the broads a lot and it's quite beautiful. When I was doing the owl mural, I spent a deal of time watching the owls fly there. It's pure inspiration."

The murals are being made in collaboration with Suffolk Wildlife Trust, forming part if a project funded by the Carlton Marshes Heritage fund.

When complete, the five murals will create a graffiti trail to the marshes, and aim to remind residents of the nature which surrounds the town.

ATM expects to return to the town to being work on his next project in October.
