Oceanic White Tip Shark

Shark Trust UK exhibition #Oceanic31 at the Royal Geographical Society

It was an honour to have my Oceanic White Tip in the Shark Trust UK exhibition #Oceanic31 at the Royal Geographical Society, in celebration of their 25 year anniversary and launch of their new campaign #bigsharkpledge

Each artist in the show represented one of 31 species of endangered shark or ray, with many pieces of great work.

The great tragedy is, only 50 years ago the Oceanic White Tip was considered the most numerous large animal on the planet. It is now in danger of extinction, victim of the trade in shark fins to make soup.
