Tansy Beetle in York, for New Networks for Nature, who hosted a 4 day event in York in 2019, Nature Matters.
This was a creative celebration of nature, featuring great speakers, performances and discussions, 

The tansy beetle was chosen as an emblem for this inspiring event because it now survives in Britain only along the banks of the River Ouse in York and one other location in Britain, Woodwalton Fen in East Anglia. It was saved from extinction by the efforts of dedicated individuals and conservation groups. Once widespread, it is another victim of the destruction of wetland habitats. Tansy Beetles are dependent on the Tansy plant as their sole food source, and as they don't fly, they can only travel a maximum of 200 metres to find new plants. If the Tansy plants are disrupted and patches of habitat broken up, it means the end for the Tansy Beetle.
